Which Heritage Breed Sheep of PA are YOU?

Washington, Pennsylvania has a rich agricultural history that has been intertwined with sheep farming for centuries. In fact, Washington has played a significant role in the development of the sheep industry across the United States.

Local farmers like Ross Farm Mercantile are specifically preserving what are called “heritage breeds”. These sheep breeds have been favored and preserved for their heartiness, resistance to disease, and overall cuteness factor (okay, not exactly, but aren’t they adorable!).
